The inaugural Produced By: New York (PBNY) conference came to a successful close with nearly 500 attendees at the Time Warner Center in NYC. Some of the entertainment industry's most renowned producers and visionaries including Harvey Weinstein, Darren Aronofsky, Scott Franklin, Bruce Cohen, Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Gordon, Morgan Spurlock, Donna Gigliotti , Gary Lucchesi, Lori McCreary, Terence Winter, among many others came together for a day dedicated to addressing key industry topics and discussing the ever-changing world of producing. Receiving a Tony Award to go with her Oscar is no longer next on Lupita Nyong'o's to-do list. The Academy Award-winning 12 Years a Slave star has turned down the chance for a Broadway debut in Nick Payne's CONSTELLATIONS opposite Jake Gyllenhaal. Reportedly, she turned it down so she could appear in the next STAR WARS film, STAR WARS: EPISODE VII.
