Tickets are now on sale for the debut cinema run of PIPELINE, coming to movie theaters nationwide October 3, 5, and 7. The Live From Lincoln Center presentation—produced in partnership with BroadwayHD—depicts a mother's hopes for her son and their clash with an educational system rigged against him. The powerful work was originally staged at Lincoln Center Theater in 2017 to wide critical acclaim. Hailed as “potent and intensely acted” and confirming Dominique Morisseau's “reputation as a playwright of piercing eloquence” (New York Times), the film will be available in cities across the U.S. including New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago. In FATHER COMES HOME FROM THE WARS (PARTS 1, 2 & 3), Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks draws on Homeric tradition to spin an epic of the American Civil War. Intended as the first three parts of nine, an episodic structure ties loosely together the narrative of Hero (Kamal Angelo Bolden), a Texas slave who must decide whether or not to join the Confederate army under his master's promise that fighting will earn his freedom.

Goodman Theatre announces the cast and creative team for the Chicago premiere of Father Comes Home From the Wars (Parts 1, 2 & 3) by Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan-Lori Parks, directed by Niegel Smith. Cherry Lane Theatre has announced casting for the third and final production of the company's award-winning MENTOR PROJECT 2016:  Antoinette Nwandu's PASS OVER, being presented at Cherry Lane (38 Commerce St.) from April 13-23, it has been announced by Seri Lawrence and Janio Marrero, MENTOR PROJECT's Producing Artistic Directors.  Angelina Fiordellisi is Cherry Lane's Founding Artistic Director.

Center Stage announces the full cast and creative team for the world premiere production of Marley, a new musical with music and lyrics by Bob Marley, and written and directed by Center Stage Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah. The production will run May 7* to June 14, 2015 at Center Stage in Baltimore.
