WONDERLAND Gets a Rock & Roll Makeover at ATC Kids This March

The Atlantic for Kids 2016/2017 Season will resume Saturday, March 4 with the family rock concert meets live theater adventure Wonderland: Alice's Rock & Roll Adventure, a New York premiere musical based on Lewis Carroll's beloved Alice and Wonderland tales, featuring book and lyrics by Rachel Rockwell, music and lyrics by Michael Mahler, and direction by Marshall Pailet.

'Blueview Island' Announces New Marketing Campaign

Two years ago, Jacqueline Frist's friend Miranda started writing a story that she hoped to turn into a book. Though she never completed it, it inspired Jacqueline to create her own book. With Miranda's support, they took it even farther than Jacqueline thought it would go which led her in writing 'Blueview Island: Book One' (published by Archway Publishing).

ANNIE to Play Kalamazoo's Miller Auditorium

Miller Auditorium is proud to announce that the U.S. National Tour of ANNIE, now in its third smash year, will play Today, Feb. 16 at 7:30 p.m. on the campus of Western Michigan University.   Directed by original lyricist and director Martin Charnin for the 19th time, this production of ANNIE is a brand new incarnation of the iconic Tony Award®-winning original.

Portland Symphony Names Four Finalists to Replace Music Director Robert Moody

PSO Music Director Robert Moody completes his tenth and final season in 2017-18 with five thrilling, capstone classical programs and the Magic of Christmas. Ken-David Masur, Daniel Meyer, Alexander Mickelthwate and Eckart Preu join the season as music director finalists, each conducting one classical and one pops concert, giving Portland an opportunity to see each conductor on the podium twice at Merrill Auditorium.

Kelli O'Hara, Jonas Kaufmann, Joyce DiDonato Will Highlight Met Opera's 2017-18 Season

The Metropolitan Opera's 2017-18 season will feature 220 performances of 26 works, including two Met premieres, one co-commissioned by the company and one an older masterpiece having its first Met performances; a variety of repertory favorites, three in new productions; and performances of Verdi's towering concert work for soloists, orchestra, and chorus, the Requiem. Of note, Broadway star Kelli O'Hara is set to return to the Met in Così fan tutte this season.

BWW Interview: Author Jacqueline T. Lynch Talks About ANN BLYTH ACTRESS, SINGER, STAR

Author Jacqueline T. Lynch has just published Comedy and Tragedy on the Mountain about the Mt. Tom Playhouse in Holyoke, Massachusetts. She interviewed me about three years ago, since I was born and raised in Holyoke and ... since I spent my childhood watching the Valley Players at Mt. Tom. The Players were my mentors for my odyssey through the acting world. It's a fascinating book. Lynch has also written the only biography in existence of movie and musical star Ann Blyth. In the following interview she talks about both books and her life as a writer.
