Hulu today announced their Fall 2018 programming slate. Newly announced premieres include 'Light as a Feather' (October 12) and the return of 'Marvel's Runaways' (December 21).

Derren Litten's smash hit ITV comedy BENIDORM is set to bring sunshine and smiles to Edinburgh next month, as the first ever stage version of the ITV comedy marks its world premiere tour, stopping off at Edinburgh Playhouse from Monday 17th - Saturday 22nd September.

Australia's only Baroque opera company, the acclaimed Pinchgut Opera, announce their most ambitious program to date. The 2019 season will feature an expanded offering of two operas and two concerts, with performances in both Sydney and Melbourne, from a program of internationally celebrated artists. Pinchgut Opera rediscovers operatic masterpieces from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. In 2019 the company will stage four seasons: in April, Pinchgut performs a concert of Bach's Easter Oratorio together with Telemann's Thunder Ode; in June, Monteverdi's final opera The Return of Ulysses; in August, the multi-award-winning counter-tenor Valder Sabadus will perform in Australia for the first time for one night only; and in December Pinchgut will stage Vivaldi's favourite opera, Farnace.

Pennsylvania Ballet Artistic Director Angel Corella has announced the new artists for the 2018/2019 Season with the addition of Corps de Ballet member Thays Golz and Apprentice Pau Pujol. The Hunter College Theatre Department and South Street Seaport Museum present Long Voyage Home: Eugene O'Neill's Plays of the Sea, an experiential evening of three one acts performed on the newly-restored Wavertree ship on Pier 16 at New York City's South Street Seaport.Barbara Bosch directs a cast of 16, including Azime Aydogmu, Jhoel Centeno, William English. Andrew Fitzsimons*, Idriz Gjokaj, Erin Jeffries, Dennis Lee, Adin Lenahan, Joyce Lim, Kevin Maloof, Victor La Mantia*, Alexander Nero, Pamela Savino, George Sheffey*, Guy Ventoliere*, and Jacqueline Wade*. Eight performances will be staged at Hunter College 695 Park Avenue (at 68th Street) and aboard the Wavertree ship, Pier 16, South Street Seaport from August 28-September 9, 2018.

Atlantic Theater Company announces casting for Middle Eastern MixFest, a series of free readings co-curated by playwrights Mona Mansour and Heather Raffo that will run Wednesday, August 8th through Thursday, August 16th at Atlantic Stage 2 (330 West 16th Street).

Freeform's “The Bold Type” will end its second season with a first-class trip to Paris for Kat, Sutton and Jane. The breakout drama, which has seen an impressive growth in ratings year-over-year, will air its season finale TUESDAY, AUGUST 7, at 8:00 p.m. EDT/PDT. The critically acclaimed drama will return to Freeform for a third season in spring 2019.

Acclaimed Psychological Thriller SAFE HARBOUR to Make U.S. Debut on Hulu

Hulu has boarded the critically acclaimed Australian series Safe Harbour for its U.S. debut as a Hulu Original Series. In a deal with NBCUniversal Television and New Media Distribution, the four-part event drama is the latest internationally-produced series to join Hulu's growing slate of thought-provoking original series, and will make its debut on August 24th.

The opulent, newly restored Emerson Colonial, the historic crown jewel among Boston's glittering theatrical houses, is the perfect setting for the equally opulent but imperfect stage adaptation of Baz Luhrmann's anachronistic 2001 movie musical MOULIN ROUGE. Originally opened in 1900, the ornately adorned gilt and red velvet theater is now celebrating its grand re-opening with a glitzy, gaudy pre-Broadway tryout of a mash-up of 1900 Bohemian Paris and a contemporary jukebox of pop rock, techno, disco and punk music. The result is a whirling dervish of sights and sounds designed more for effect than affect. The audience, obviously familiar with and adoring of the original movie, rapturously cheers on cue. But for those seeking a more nostalgic emotional connection to the material, this MOULIN ROUGE may seem more rock concert than musical theater.

American Ballet Theatre Soloist Catherine Hurlin is the recipient of a 2018 Princess Grace Award (Barbara & John Lehman Dance Award). Hurlin received one of nine fellowships granted in the Dance and Choreography category. The annual Princess Grace Foundation-USA awards were announced in New York City on July 26.

Florida Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce directors for its 2018-2019 Season and complete casting for five of its upcoming productions. The theatre's 21st season is set to open to previews Sept. 18 with the moving, one-woman comedy, Becoming Dr. Ruth, which kicks off a nine-show season in the theatre's two venues.
