Ahead of the LA Film Festival screenings of her series Kiki and Kitty this month, multi-award-winning writer/director/ producer Catriona McKenzie has announced that she is setting up her own production company, Dark Horse.

Film Mode Entertainment and Branded Pictures Entertainment are thrilled to announce the additions of Adrian Grenier(Entourage) and Mya Taylor (Tangerine) to the cast of STAGE MOTHER, a new dramatic comedy, set in the drag queen world of San Francisco. The film is set to go into production on September 14, 2018 in Canada, with much of the filming to take place in Nova Scotia. Rights for the film will be available at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) this month. Film Mode Entertainment's Clay Epstein and Branded Pictures Entertainment founder and producer J. Todd Harris announced the project this spring in Cannes.
