The producers of 'HAIRSPRAY' are delighted to announce that Nigel Planer and Verity Rushworth are to join the cast of the multi-award winning musical, beginning on Monday 2 February. Nigel takes over the role of 'Wilbur Turnblad', husband of larger than life 'Edna' played by Michael Ball.
Rehearsals for the new American play IMPRESSIONISM starring Tony Award winners Jeremy Irons and Joan Allen will begin on Tuesday January 20 in New York. The production, which will be directed by Tony Award-winner Jack O'Brien, will begin preview performances on February 28 and open on March 12 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45 Street).
