Patricia Watt, Executive Producer of the 2011 Fred & Adele Astaire Awards, has announced the first group of Presenters for the 29th Annual Fred & Adele Astaire Awards, In addition to Len Cariou and Brian Stokes Mitchell who will co-present the Douglas Watt Lifetime Achievement Award to legendary, dancer, choreographer, teacher and star of stage, film and television Jacques D'Amboise, additional presenters include Bill Irwin, Maurice Hines, Christine Andreas, Charlotte D'amboise, Christopher D'amboise and Karen Ziemba.

Qi Shu Fang Peking Opera Company (Qi Shu Fang, President & Ding Mei Kui, Artistic Director), recipient of National Heritage Fellowship for the Arts, will present the 11th Annual Peking Opera Festival featuring Qi Shu Fang and the Company for one performances only on Saturday, June 25th @ 7:30PM at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, NYU (566 LaGuardia Place at Washington Square South).

The Awards Ceremony will be held on May 1, 2011 at 7 p.m. EST at NYU Skirball Center, 566 LaGuardia Place, at Washington Square. It was announced today that Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director of Manhattan Theatre Club, will be honored with the Lucille Lortel Award for Lifetime Achievement. The award recognizes Meadow's extraordinary accomplishments and dedication to producing and directing new work Off-Broadway for over three decades.
