During the early 1960s New York's The Bitter End Nightclub hosted Folk music 'hootenannies' every Tuesday night, featuring many performers who have since become legendary including Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Tom Paxton, Peter, Paul and Mary, Odetta and Pete Seeger.

White's timeless children's novel, with music by Tony Award-winning composer, Jason Robert Brown. The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts presents Baseball Swing with the All Star Baseball Jazz Band, co-commissioned and co-produced with the Baseball Music Project and the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. With a cast featuring Terron Brooks, Angela Pupello, Terri White, Fred Willard and Adrian Zmed, Baseball Swing, a part of the Jack Elliott Family Concert Series, will have four performances only April 4-6, 2014, in the Bram Goldsmith Theater.

'East Towards Home' by Billy Yalowitz brings to life three generations of Jewish left-wing culture in New York City, combining tales of radical choreographers of the 1930's and 40's, texts and songs from Woody Guthrie, and first-person stories of the author's NYC Jewish left-wing childhood in the 1960's and 70's. With loose-limbed storytelling, visual projections, animation, modern dance and live music, it offers a personal and impassioned look at the culture and history of the American Jewish radical left-wing community at a time when this legacy is in danger of passing into obscurity. Theater for the New City will present the play's world premiere run January 16 to February 2, directed by David Schechter.

This is the second year that ANW has presented the timeless holiday classic, once again accompanied by a special fundraiser event, "Fezziwig's Festive Holiday Tea" on December 8, which directly supports Classics Live! - ANW's education programs. The event will feature a live auction hosted by NBC4's Fritz Coleman.
