Steppenwolf Theatre Company announces the 2016/17 winter lineup for LookOut, the company's multi-genre performance series featuring a diverse array of work from both emerging and established artists. LookOut programming takes place in Steppenwolf's 1700 Theatre, an 80-seat cabaret-style space connected to Steppenwolf's own Front Bar: Coffee and Drinks at 1700 N Halsted St. Guests can take drinks into the theater. Every Friday a different DJ spins in Front Bar before the performance.

With the 2016 Fallfest, Speed, fast approaching, the Chicago Humanities Festival is eager to announce the addition of several newsmakers, cultural commentators, and tastemakers to its line-up of more than 100 programs. 'Nightcap Riot: Mombucha' encompasses a concert, beverage tasting/'brewtorial,' and full theatrical production of the JIm Knable's world-premiere adapatation of George Bernard Shaw's 'The Man of Destiny' titled 'Destiny and the Little Man,' directed by Bruce Levitt. Only 50 people per night are allowed admission to this experience, which runs from January 15th - February 14th, 2016 over 16 performances. 15 different bands, 5 comedians, magicians, a mixologist from Union Square Hospitality and a kombucha brewer make up the balance of the greater Nightcap Riot: Mombucha cast.
