New York City Center today announced casting for the Gala Presentation of Evita, November 13 a?' 24.

The Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL) is pleased to announce that it will join other professional theater organizations from across the country participating in the eleventh annual presentation of "The Jimmy Awards", to be held in New York City on June 24th at the Minskoff Theatre on Broadway. The National High School Musical Theater Awards (NHSMTA), founded and produced by Nederlander Presentations, Inc. and Pittsburgh CLO, is a national celebration of outstanding student achievement that recognizes individual artistry in vocal, dance and acting performances by high school students. "The Jimmy Award" is named in honor of James M. Nederlander, legendary Broadway theater owner and producer.

Someone once said, "Don't Be Cruel, to a Heart That's True"… but it's not ALWAYS a good idea to repress your cruel intentions. Especially if your intention is to create a completely madcap music theatre 90's pop/rock concert retelling of the 90's cult classic Cruel Intentions. Well, thank the musical theatre gods someone saw fit to do just that.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano.  This Thursday night,  March 29th  Broadway Sessions welcomes tcast members from Cruel Intention, the 90's Musical Experience.
