Porchlight Music Theatre and Artistic Director Michael Weber are proud to announce the second installment in the new musical revue series, New Faces Sing Broadway.

The Kennedy Center today announced a robust schedule of 2015-2016 performances as part of Comedy at the Kennedy Center, the largest since the new series was established in the 2014-2015 season. Capital One is the presenting sponsor. Comedy at the Kennedy Center will include three signature events in the Concert Hall, featuring nationally renowned comedic acts, and the Center's first District of Comedy Festival from June 22-25, showcasing an array of celebrated comedians who will be performing on stages across the building. The District of Comedy Festival will also launch a newly-engaged collaboration with Chicago's legendary comedy theater, The Second City, featuring a Kennedy Center commission that focuses on the history of the United States, which will run for six weeks in the Theater Lab. Tickets for these events go on sale to members on Monday, November 23, 2015 and to the general public on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 (unless otherwise noted).

The RRazz Room at The Prince is an intimate venue programmed by the entrepreneurs who created the infamous and iconic RRazz Room in San Francisco. The RRazz Room at the Prince is located within the historic Prince Theater, 1412 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pa. 19102 (near the corner of Broad and Chestnut Streets on the Avenue of the Arts).

The Friars Club was full of laughter last night as Friar Mickey Freeman was remembered by a group of comics who dubbed themselves Mickey's Kids. Comics Mike Fine and Bob Greenberg produced the event and along with Dave Konig assembled these “kids” to recreate the humor and pay respect to one of the legends in the world of comedy. Mickey Freeman also gained fame as a character actor who appeared as a regular on The Phil Silvers TV Show (Sgt. Bilko). He also appeared on episodes of Naked City, the Lloyd Bridges Show and The Equalizer, in addition to his travels as a stand- up comic. Performers at the event were, Larry Stevens, Mike Fine, Jerry Coe, Dave Konig, Jake Ehrenreich, Bob Greenberg, Marc Eliot, Joe Franklin, Paul and Goldie Dver, and 99 year old Prof. Irwin Corey.

Award-winning producers Michael & Barbara Ross will present Tony Award-winning actress Tonya Pinkins in Larry Parr's ETHEL WATERS: HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW at Luna Stage in West Orange, New Jersey, for a limited run, tonight, August 16 - September 2, 2012. The production will be directed by award-winning director Dennis Courtney, with musical direction by Barry Levitt.

Joining in the benefit will be LOVE LOSS AND WHAT I WORE star Judy Gold, as well as James Smith, Mie Vecchione, Mike DeStefano, Paul Mooney and Irwin Corey.

At heart Cassandra is a Mississippi girl whose art reflects her deep musical and cultural roots. After studying with Ellis Marsalis in New Orleans, she established her career in New York City. She has since moved back and rediscovered her Mississippi roots. Cassandra makes her return to The Music Hall on the heels of her 2009 Grammy-Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album, Loverly.
