terraNOVA Collective and IRT Theater present the New York Premiere of LAST CALL, by Terri Girvin. Directed by Drama Desk Award nominee Michael Leeds (Broadway's Swinging On A Star) with an integrated soundscape by Grammy nominated sound designer Phil Palazzolo (Broadway's Hedwig and The Angry Inch), previews begin October 9 at IRT Theater. Opening night is slated for Thursday, October 15.

The new St. Ann's Warehouse was unveiled in a ceremony this morning! The $31.6 million, 25,000 sf. theater, at the breathtaking site of the pre-Civil War Tobacco Warehouse under the Brooklyn Bridge, will make Brooklyn Bridge Park a home for culture for future generations.

Puppetry from the U.S., Japan, Belgium and Colombia will be featured in the 2015 LA MAMA PUPPET SERIES set for November 5 to 29 on all four of La MaMa's stages in New York City. This biennial festival highlights new contemporary puppet theatre from many of the world's leading puppet artists during the month of November, including Heather Henson, Ty Defoe, Tom Lee, Koryu Nishikawa V, Loco7 Dance Puppet Theatre Company and Maiko Kikuchi.

The Danish String Quartet has established a reputation for possessing an integrated sound, impeccable intonation and judicious balance. With their technical and interpretive talents matched by an infectious joy for music-making and "rampaging energy" (The New Yorker), the quartet has been acclaimed as one of the "best quartets before the public today" (Washington Post). Since making their debut in 2002 at the Copenhagen Festival, this group of musical friends has demonstrated a passion for Scandinavian composers, who they frequently incorporate into adventurous programs, while also proving skilled and profound performers of the classical masters. The ensemble's Meany Hall performance will be their first in Seattle.
