DIRECTV will throw the party of Super Bowl weekend, tonight, Feb 1, when Jay Z takes the stage at DIRECTV Super Saturday Night Co-Hosted by MARK CUBAN's AXS TV and Eli Manning. The invitation-only event will be held inside DIRECTV SuperFan Stadium at the Hudson River Park Pier 40.

Today, SHOWTIME announced premiere dates for a number of its highly-anticipated new and returning programs this Spring. Beginning Sunday, April 13, the sweeping docu-series YEARS OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY makes its debut in time for Earth Day at 10 p.m., immediately following the season six premiere of NURSE JACKIE, starring Edie Falco, at 9 p.m. and the seventh and final season of CALIFORNICATION, starring David Duchovny, at 9:30 p.m. SHOWTIME's new series PENNY DREADFUL, the psychological thriller starring Eva Green and Josh Hartnett, premieres on Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m.

Bravo Media heads back to the Lone Star State as “Watch What Happens Live,” hosted by Andy Cohen, returns to the 21st Annual SXSW® Interactive Festival. The only live, interactive show in late-night goes to Austin, Texas for a second year for five shows beginning the week of March 9th. The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) has announced that Jensen Ackles, Christina Applegate, Kristen Bell, Jessica Chastain, Don Cheadle, Bill Hader, Jonah Hill, Sir Ben Kingsley, Nia Long, Kellan Lutz, James Marsden, Jared Padalecki, Margot Robbie, Julia Roberts, Ian Somerhalder, Isaiah Washington, and Marlon Wayans will present awards at this year's Critics' Choice Movie Awards ceremony on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. Hosted by Aisha Tyler, the star-studded awards gala will be broadcast live on The CW Network at 8:00 PM ET/PT. Red Carpet Pre-show coverage will also air in various local markets immediately before the awards ceremony.

On the THE VAMPIRE DIARIES' midseason finale, airing next Thursday, Dec. 12, and titled 'Fifty Shades of Grayson,' Damon (Ian Somerhalder) realizes Elena (Nina Dobrev) is in danger and enlists Stefan's (Paul Wesley) help to find her. The brothers pay a visit to Aaron (guest star Shaun Sipos), and Damon shocks Stefan by Revealing his first-hand knowledge of Aaron's family. In an attempt to stop Damon, Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) unleashes his secret weapon, forcing Damon to deal with a part of his past he thought was gone forever, as well as the consequences of his decades-long plan for revenge. Meanwhile, Elena is horrified by Dr. Wes' confessions about the dark history of Whitmore College and his own ultimate goal. Finally, a frantic Katherine (Nina Dobrev) turns to Matt (Zach Roerig) for help, until she realizes that Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) may be the one who can solve her problem. Kellie Cyrus directed the episode written by Caroline Dries (#510).
