£5 tickets to King Lear will be made available as part of Chichester Festival Theatre's Prologue scheme for 16-25 year olds.

For many San Diegans, their ability to understand and appreciate the wonders of the Bard during our Summer Shakespeare Festival has increased exponentially since they joined The Old Globe for Thinking Shakespeare Live!, a 90-minute exploration of the language of Shakespeare led by the Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein and assisted by three professional classical actors. This special free program celebrates TCG's newly released revised edition of Edelstein's book Thinking Shakespeare: A How-To Guide for Student Actors, Directors, and Anyone Else Who Wants to Feel More Comfortable with the Bard.

Dawn King's Foxfinder will have its West End premiere at the Ambassadors Theatre from 6 September 2018 for a strictly limited season until 5 January 2019. Olivier Award-winner Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones' Ramsay Bolton, Misfits) will star in the unsettling and darkly comic drama directed by Rachel O'Riordan whose production of Killology at the Royal Court won the 2018 Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theatre. Further casting will be announced at a later date.

The Old Globe will once again share some of its favorite Shakespearean cinema as a complement to its stage productions with the return of Free Monday Night Film Screenings, presented in conjunction with the 2018 Summer Shakespeare Festival. Curated by the Globe's Erna Finci Viterbi Artistic Director Barry Edelstein and introduced by KPBS's "Cinema Junkie" Beth Accomando, the films include Fred Wilcox's Forbidden Planet on July 9, Ralph Fiennes's Coriolanus on July 16, Orson Welles's Othello on July 30, and Ian McKellen's Richard III on August 27. Admission is free. Seating for each film is first-come, first-served and by general admission. The line begins one hour before each screening.

After 'sealing the deal' with critics and audiences alike during its smash hit West End run, Sam Yates' unmissable production of one of David Mamet's greatest and most lauded plays, Glengarry Glen Ross will embark on a nationwide tour from 14 February 2019 opening at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking. The hard-nosed sales team in this darkly funny classic will then visit Birmingham, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Richmond, Brighton and Cardiff with further tour dates to be announced shortly.

BRON Studios has come on as a producer of Oscar® winner John Ridley's NEEDLE IN A TIMESTACK.  Zanne Devine, David Thwaites and BRON'S Aaron L. Gilbert are producing and today announced that Tony and Grammy Award winner Leslie Odom Jr., BAFTA nominee Freida Pinto, Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Cynthia Erivo, and SAG award winner Orlando Bloom will star.  Ridley will direct and is adapting from a short story by Robert Silverberg where a couple work to hold their marriage together in a world where time travel is possible, and the past and present are ever fluctuating.

On 4 June, Kinky Boots will gain several new cast members including Oliver Tompsett and Natalie McQueen. The show, about shoe factory owner Charlie Price and drag queen Lola, has been running at the Adelphi Theatre since 2015. Simon-Anthony Rhoden continues in the role of Lola.

The Alley Theatre and interim artistic director James Black announce the cast and crew of the new Sherlock Holmes adventure Holmes and Watson byJeffrey Hatcher and directed by Mark Shanahan. This version of the play was written for the Alley by Hatcher. Based on the characters of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle,Holmes and Watson plays the Hubbard Theatre June 22 - July 22, 2018. As previously reported, a feature documentary about Lord of the Rings star Ian McKellen is set for release in the U.S., U.K., and Scandinavia by Trafalgar.

 LETTERS LIVE is thrilled to announce Cynthia Erivo, Edie Falco, Ian McShane, James Earl Jones, Katie Holmes, Kyle MacLachlan, Laurence Fishburne, Molly Ringwald and Uzo Aduba as the second wave of confirmed performers for its first ever NYC shows on May 18th and May 19th 2018, at The Town Hall. They will join previously-announced guest Benedict Cumberbatch. Performances begin at 8pm ET and will run for 2 hours and 20 minutes with a 20 intermission.
