Bill Kenwright and Marla Rubin announce that they will present the Almeida Theatre production of FESTEN, the hugely successful London play about a family with a dark secret, on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre (239 W. 45th St.), with performances beginning Thursday, March 23. Larry Bryggman, Michael Hayden, Ali MacGraw and Julianna Margulies have been cast in the Broadway production. Directed by Rufus Norris, in a dramatization by David Eldridge from the Danish 1998 film, FESTEN will have its official press opening on Sunday, April 9.

The nominations have been released for the 2006 Laurence Olivier Awards. The ceremony for this year's awards will take place at the Park Lane Hilton on February, 2006. Leading the pack this year are Billy Elliot with nine nominations, and Guys and Dolls with eight.

The London cast recording of the West End smash Billy Elliot will dance into American stores on February 7th, 2006, while the show itself will open on Broadway sometime in 2007

Billy Elliot has been extended to run at London's Victoria Place Theatre through October 21st
