Kevin Bishop will star as 'Carter' and Nicholas Burns as 'Tom' alongside Joanna Page as 'Jeannie' and Ella Smith as 'Helen' in the transfer of Neil LaBute's hit comedy 'FAT PIG', which will open at the Comedy Theatre in London on Thursday 11 September. 'FAT PIG', currently starring Kris Marshall, Joanna Page, Ella Smith and Robert Webb, will finish its Trafalgar Studios season on Saturday 6 September. 'FAT PIG' opened in May this year to critical acclaim and has been playing to sell-out houses.
Today it was announced that GUYS AND DOLLS will open on Broadway for the first time in 17 years in the spring of 2009 at a Nederlander Theatre to be announced. With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, this production is the first joint Broadway project by director Des McAnuff and Sergio Trujillo since Jersey Boys.
