Beginning Tuesday evening, March 25, Kim Stengel, the actress who has played the role of the outrageous opera diva 'Carlotta' in The Phantom of the Opera more than any other actress worldwide, will join the Broadway production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, directed by Harold Prince, at The Majestic Theatre (247 West 44th Street). This will mark Ms. Stengel's Broadway debut.

'The Broadway Musicals of 1947,' kicked-off the eighth season of The Town Hall's critically acclaimed Broadway by the Year series on March 3 at Town Hall. Legendary Broadway director Hal Prince suffered a minor stroke 3 weeks ago. It was a complete shock to all who know the still active Tony-winning director/producer, but his recuperation has been swift and amazing. Only 3 weeks after the incident, he's already made a complete and total recovery!
