Atlantic Theatre Company to Feature HAPPY HOUR, CQ/CX, et al. in 2011-12 Season

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director, Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) is proud to announce its 2011-2012 season productions, featuring world premieres from Academy Award® winner Ethan Coen, Fernanda Coppel, Gabe McKinley, Adam Rapp, and Pulitzer Prize winner John Patrick Shanley, as well as a U.S. premiere from Simon Stephens starring Olivier Award winner Simon Russell Beale.

Atlantic Theater Company Concludes Season With 10X25, 6/15-26

Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) concludes its 25th Anniversary season with a celebration of its history with 10x25, an all-commissioned, one-act festival of ten-minute plays by twenty-five of the extraordinary playwrights who have been produced there since 1985.

GLEE, MAD MEN, et al. Nominated for 2011 BAFTA Awards

The 2011 BAFTA Awwards nominees have just been announced, and this year, GLEE, MA MEN, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, and THE KILLIANG are in the runnning for best International show. Winners will be announced at the May 22 ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel May 22.

The Gallery Players (Heather Curran, Artistic Director; Neal Freeman, Executive Director) announced today that Broadway veteran Gregory Simmons will direct August Wilson's Jitney, running March 19 - April 3, 2011 at the organization's Brooklyn home (199 14th Street, Park Slope).

Mercer County Community College Presents BOY'S LIFE ,11/19-21

Comedy, drama and dance are all on the upcoming performance schedule for Theatre and Dance students at Mercer County Community College. In their first production of the fall semester, students will perform Howard Korder's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, BOY'S LIFE. This heterosexual coming-of-age black comedy will be performed Friday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 and 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at MCCC's Studio Theatre, located next to Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

HBO Renews 'Boardwalk Empire' for 2nd Season

Following resounding critical approval and high viewer numbers for the series' Sept. 19 debut, HBO has renewed Boardwalk Empire for a second season, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming.

BOY'S LIFE Opens at Crown City Theatre Company, Closes 9/12

Boys' Life, by Howard Korder opens this Thursday, August 5th at Crown City Theatre Company. Boy's Life is a Pulitzer Prize nominated show that opened on Broadway in 1988. The production will close on September 12.
