The career of American bluesman, roots radical, and pioneer of world music Taj Mahal is set to be celebrated next year with the release of THE COMPLETE COLUMBIA ALBUMS COLLECTION.

"The Harlem Globetrotters Special, presented by Wonderful Pistachios" premieres on ESPN on Feb. 10, at 5:00 p.m. EST, with re-airs on ESPN2 scheduled for Feb. 17 at 11:00 a.m. EST, and March 2 at 11:00 p.m. EST. ESPN commentator Jon Sciambi will provide play-by-play for the telecast.

Beginning with preview performances on Wednesday, January 23rd and opening officially on Friday, January 25th, Playhouse on Park presents the Ron Hutchinson play, 'Moonlight and Magnolias.'

The Mulatto Saga Creator was awarded an Up & Coming Artist trophy at the 10th annual Pocono Mountains Film Festival on Saturday night after her film Juliette Fairley's Mulatto's Dilemma screened at the privately owned, funded and operated film festival in Pennsylvania.

Rubicon Theatre Artistic Directors KARYL LYNN BURNS and JAMES O'NEIL announced the company's 15th Anniversary Season at a preview event for subscribers, donors and media last earlier this month at the theatre's home in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District. Featuring music of glass harmonica virtuoso Jonny Rodgers, avant-bluegrass guitarist Jordan Tice (The Jordan Tice Trio), and the singular percussionist Mathias Kunzli, currently on tour with Regina Spektor. This will take place on Colonels' Row tonight, September 3rd.
