The casts of Broadway's LION KING and ALADDIN found themselves with some extra time when their Orlando-bound flight from New York's LaGuardia Airport was delayed six hours.

The Muny announced today the cast for its production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast (July 29 - August 7). With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton, this beloved family classic is directed by Matt Lenz, choreographed by Vince Pesce and music directed by Ben Whiteley.

Eddie Cooper and Joe Grifasi will join the previously announced Ellen Greene, Jake Gyllenhaal and Taran Killam in the Encores! Off-Center concert production of Howard Ashman and Alan Menken's Little Shop of Horrors, running for three performances, July 1-2, 2015 at New York City Center. Eddie Cooper replaces his father Chuck Cooper, who will be starring in the upcoming Broadway musical Amazing Grace.

Berkeley Playhouse at the Julia Morgan Theater proudly announces their eighth season. The ambitious season will see an increase of productions from four to six, their first "R-rated" show, a world premiere commission, the first non-musical in the company's history, and a Bay Area premiere.

Stages Theatre Company recently held auditions for their upcoming production of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. Over 160 youth actors turned out to audition for 20 roles in the stage musical adaptation with all the magic from the Disney classic.

Swim with Sebastian, float with Flounder and become part of Ariel's underwater world in the Wasatch Front's local company premiere of Disney's The Little Mermaid, at Hale Centre Theatre. Tickets are on sale now for the Disney classic, slated to run June 5 through August 1, in West Valley City in more than 75 consecutive performances.

Some three decades after its first premiere, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS still delivers on its promise to be an enjoyable romp for its audiences.
