The Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival is pleased to announce the hiring of Justin R. Hoffman as the Festival's new Production Manager.

Young Jewish Professionals (YJP) recently held its 40 Under 40 Winter Gala, honoring 40 CEOs, executives, entrepreneurs, and rising corporate talent in the Jewish community. The annual event took place on January 27th, at Espace New York City, with over 1,000 members of the tri-state area's business class in attendance.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (Kelli Lynn Harrison & Lisa Rothe, Co-Presidents) will present the 2018 Theatre Women Awards at The TimesCenter (242 West 41st Street between 7th and 8th Avenues) on Friday, March 16 beginning at 6:30PM. Discovery Shines a Light on Three Deadly Viruses and Their Potential for Catastrophic Outbreaks in INVISIBLE KILLERS

Newly announced 2018 Jonathan Larson Grant Recipients ZOE SARNAK (music & lyrics) and EMILY KACZMAREK (book) are bringing their new, original musical AFTERWORDS to the stage, as part of the Beta Series at Village Theatre, a leading producer of musical theatre in the Pacific Northwest. 

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today a one-week extension for the world premiere of KINGS, written by Sarah Burgess and directed by Thomas Kail. Part of The Public's Astor Anniversary Season at their landmark downtown home on Lafayette Street, celebrating 50 years of new work at 425 Lafayette Street and the 50th Anniversary of HAIR, KINGS officially opens on Tuesday, February 20 and will now run an additional week through Sunday, April 1.

Bloomingdale School of Music is pleased to continue its Faculty Focus Performance Series with a solo concert by piano faculty member Nuno da Silva Marques in a program devoted to the works of the great pianist/composers Frederic Chopin, Enrique Granados and Sergei Rachmaninov. Their music for piano as well as their own virtuosity at the instrument influenced generations of composers and pianists. The concert will be held in the David Greer Recital Hall located at the school's home site at 323 West 95th Street, between Broadway and Riverside Drive in Manhattan. Seating is limited.

Jim Helsinger, artistic director of the Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF, was awarded the Sidney Berger Fund & Award at the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA) Annual Conference on Saturday, January 20, 2019. The Sidney Berger Fund & Award was created through a generous contribution by the family of Sidney Berger. Berger was a founding member of STA and former Artistic Director of Houston Shakespeare Festival. The award is dedicated to provide the basis for an annual cash award to a STA member artistic director in recognition of her or his outstanding talent and dedication to the works of William Shakespeare. Previous winners include Los Angeles Women's Shakespeare Company's Artistic Director Lisa Wolpe and the American Shakespeare Center's Director of Education Sarah Enloe.

BROADWAY IN THE 'BU! presents DOWN WITH LOVE, the Inaugural Concert Gala for the Malibu Theatre Collective (MTCO). Artists Rep presents the 2015 Pulitzer Prize for Drama winner Between Riverside and Crazy, by Stephen Adly Guirgis. The play is directed by Adriana Baer and runs from March 4 through April 1 on the theatre's Alder Stage.
