'THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO' announces upcoming listings and appearances

Broadway luminaries Carolee Carmello, Judy Kaye, and Roz Ryan will grace The 5th Avenue Theatre stage under the direction of David Armstrong in the West Coast premiere of Saving Aimee, a soul-stirring new musical with book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford, and music by David Pomeranz and David Friedman.

Amongst the winners were several with Broadway backgrounds: Bill Sherman (composer) and Chris Jackson (lyricist) for Sesame Street's original song 'What I Am' and Willie Reale as a co-executive producer of The Electric Company on PBS.

This morning on a Today Show appearance, Angela Bassett revealed that she's 'weighing coming to New York to do a Broadway show' to the show's hosts, Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb.

Country music's hottest breakthrough family band, The Band Perry, will also participate in the nomination announcements and perform their current hit single, 'You Lie.' Multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban announced on The Today Show this morning that he will launch a 2011 World Tour in support of his latest platinum certified album, Illuminations. He will be visiting cities all across the US and Canada beginning this spring. The first cities announced include May 16th in Dallas, TX at the American Airlines Arena, May 25th, Kansas City, MO at the Sprint Center and May 28th, Moline, IL at the Iwireless Center. A ticket pre-sale for members of Josh's fanclub, Friends of Josh Groban, will begin February 16th for these 3 shows. Tickets will go on sale to the general public February 18th.

Yesterday Kathie Lee Gifford, the co-host of the fourth hour of NBC's 'Today Show' performed the Patsy Kline classic 'Stop Look and Listen' with the cast of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET, the Broadway musical sensation.
