Ari Graynor & Jonah Hill Team Up for 'The Sitter' Flick

Deadline.com has revealed that Ari Graynor will team up with Jonah Hill in the David Gordon Green-directed The Sitter for Fox. Michael De Luca prodeces the film, which, according to The Hollywood Reporter 'follows a college student, suspended for the semester and living at home with his single mom, who has a night to remember when he gets talked into baby-sitting the eccentric kids next door: two boys and a wild 8-year-old girl.'

THINGS AS THEY ARE Debuts At NYMF

The life of the renowned photojournalist Dorothea Lange will be set to song in THINGS AS THEY ARE, a new musical by Jonathan Comisar and John Dietrich which will receive its world premiere at the 2010 New York Musical Theatre Festival where it will begin performances on September 27th at the Theater at St. Clement's (423 West 46th Street New York, NY).

TRUST Opens at 2nd Stage, 8/12

Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) opens it's latest production, TRUST, starring Zach Braff, Bobby Cannavale, Sutton Foster, and Ari Graynor tonight, August 12. TRUST is written by Paul Weitz and directed by Peter DuBois. Mr. Weitz returns to Second Stage Theatre, where his plays Privilege and Show People premiered in 2005 and 2006, respectively. Directed by Peter DuBois, who staged Second Stage's acclaimed production of Becky Shaw, TRUST began previews on Friday, July 23 at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd street). The production runs through September 5.

Toronto International Film Festival to Feature 'Rabbit Hole' et al. 9/9-9/19

The Toronto International Film Festival has announced fifteen galas and thirty-five special presentations (twenty-five of them world premieres) for this year's festival. But all have chosen to spend the last three years in New York City, two express subway stops from Broadway, following their dream and refining their craft as actors, directors or playwrights in the only Masters' theater program endorsed by the renowned Actors Studio.
