Perry-Mansfield has announced the full lineup for their 2016 New Works Festival. The 19th Annual festival, held on June 10 and 11 in Steamboat Springs, CO will develop five new works in partnership with the Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) Theatre Company, The Lark, Primary Stages, and South Coast Repertory.

Goodman Theatre announces Broadway stars John Dossett and Douglas Sills will join the cast of War Paint, a new musical starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole as Helena Rubinstein and Elizabeth Arden, respectively. Leonard Bernstein's classic musical Wonderful Town, previously announced for Spring/Summer 2016, will be rescheduled to September and open the Goodman's upcoming 2016/2017 Season. Goodman Theatre announces casting for ANOTHER WORD FOR BEAUTY, a world premiere music-filled work by Academy Award nominee Jose Rivera with music by Grammy Award winner Hector Buitrago. Directed by Steve Cosson and developed through a co-commission between the Goodman and the New York-based theater company The Civilians, ANOTHER WORD FOR BEAUTY is inspired by the true stories of the inmates at El Buen Pastor womens prison in Bogota, Colombia, who compete in a beauty pageant intended by their jailers to motivate and rehabilitate them.
