Ebony Repertory Theatre, now in its fifth year, has announced the return of their production of FRATERNITY by internationally acclaimed, award-winning playwright/screenwriter Jeff Stetson (Keep the Faith and And the Men Shall Also Gather). Director Henry Miller (James Baldwin's The Amen Corner) leads the creative team. The riveting award-winning political drama FRATERNITY began performances last night and runs through June 2, 2013 at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center (4718 W. Washington Blvd.) in Los Angeles.

Today in 2009 the first Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie opened at Henry Miller's Theatre (now the Stephen Sondheim Theatre), where it ran for 117 performances. Originally titled Let's Go Steady, the satire on American society is set in 1958. The story was inspired by the phenomenon of popular singer Elvis Presley and his draft notice into the Army in 1957. The original Broadway production was a Tony Award-winning success. It spawned a London production and several major revivals, a sequel, a 1963 film and a 1995 television production.

Beginning Friday, October 5, Current TV will introduce a new weekly show to its lineup entitled 'John Fugelsang: So That Happened.' Airing at 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm ET, the hour-long program will serve as a precursor to the comedian's highly anticipated nightly series, which will premiere later this year. Fugelsang will be commenting on the week's events in news, pop culture, politics and the web, using plenty of video to share his selected highlights and lowlights from the week just ending. Comedian Frank Conniff, best known as Frank from 'Mystery Science Theater 3000,' will serve as head writer and will be a frequent contributor to the series.

After seven years of writing, re-writing, fine tuning, and revelatory readings, Alexander deJong's opulent Liberace musical, ALL THAT GLITTERS will be presented in its Pre-Broadway workshop from Tuesday, May 8 through Friday, May 11 at the Baryshnikov Arts Center (450 West 37 Street - between Ninth and Tenth Avenues).
