Ewan McGregor, Neve Campbell and Kathleen Turner were among the performers who showed up for the starry 2006 Laurence Olivier Awards

Bill Kenwright and Marla Rubin announce that they will present the Almeida Theatre production of FESTEN, the hugely successful London play about a family with a dark secret, on Broadway at the Music Box Theatre (239 W. 45th St.), with performances beginning Thursday, March 23. Larry Bryggman, Michael Hayden, Ali MacGraw and Julianna Margulies have been cast in the Broadway production. Directed by Rufus Norris, in a dramatization by David Eldridge from the Danish 1998 film, FESTEN will have its official press opening on Sunday, April 9.

The nominations have been released for the 2006 Laurence Olivier Awards. The ceremony for this year's awards will take place at the Park Lane Hilton on February, 2006. Leading the pack this year are Billy Elliot with nine nominations, and Guys and Dolls with eight.

Maria Friedman, the leading lady of the British musical theatre, makes her Broadway debut in London's smash hit musical, THE WOMAN IN WHITE, opening on Broadway Thursday, November 17th at the Marquis Theatre (211 W 45th St).

David Lan, Artistic Director of the Young Vic, will direct Helen McCrory, Sienna Miller, Dominic West and Reece Shearsmith in a new production of Shakespeare's great romantic comedy, As You Like It.
