One of the most magical places that I have ever been is Grover's Corners, New Hampshire. It's not a fancy place, just a simple town in which people go about their business, but are always willing to stop and chat about the weather. Grover's Corners is the epitome of a way of life that has long since ceased to exist, if it ever actually did in the first place. However, despite its quantness and surface simplicity, every time I go back to visit, I find more and more depth in the town than I ever remembered being there before. Perhaps this is a simple byproduct of my own aging, but each time I stop by Grover's Corners, I fall more and more in love with this mythical, magical town.

Tongue in Cheek Theater Productions to Stage THE INN AT LAKE DEVINE in 2015

Tongue in Cheek Theater Productions (Jake Lipman, producing artistic director) will adapt the popular novel, The Inn at Lake Devine by Elinor Lipman (Vintage Contemporaries) into a full-length play over 2015, culminating with a three-week performance run October 7-24, 2015 in midtown NYC.

Tim Robbins-Helmed A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM Kicks Off OZ's 2014-15 Season

Today OZ, Nashville's first contemporary arts center, announces its 2014-15 season, which runs today, September 12, 2014 - June 27, 2015. The season is bookended by premieres, beginning with two performances (September 12 & 13) of Tim Robbins' interpretation of A Midsummer Night's Dream, produced and acted by the company he founded and leads, The Actors' Gang, in the production's first U.S. engagement outside of the company's home theater in Los Angeles. OZ's 2014-15 program will conclude with the world premiere (June 18-20) of Memory Rings, the latest multi-media stage production from innovative New York City-based puppetry collective Phantom Limb Company.

BIG BLOCK ENTERTAINMENT (Heathers: The Musical), a television, film, live entertainment and design production company led by Scott Benson, Tony Award-winning producer Jamie Bendell (A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder) and Tony Award-nominated producer Scott Prisand (Rock of Ages), announced today they have optioned the play A FAMILY THING, written by Peabody Award nominee and Emmy Award nominee Gary Lennon ("Orange Is The New Black"), for a Broadway run in 2015. IN A DARK HOUSE Opens 7/26 at Matrix Theatre

Two estranged brothers face off in search of the truth about the troubled legacy of their shared past. Larry Moss directs the Los Angeles premiere of In A Dark Dark House by Neil LaBute, opening July 26 at the Matrix Theatre.
