Gallery New World Stages to Present THAT FACE: THE ART OF KEN FALLIN, Begin. 9/12

Gallery New World Stages, located at 343 West 49th Street, today announced the fall opening of THAT FACE: THE ART OF KEN FALLIN - Broadway, Hollywood & Wall Street. Curated by Bernard Stote, this exhibit will feature over 75 original works of Caricature Art of popular cultural icons from Broadway community, Hollywood, politics, and Wall Street. The work will be on exhibition from September 12th through December 31st, with a gala opening reception on September 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.

BWW Reviews: OUR TOWN at the Theater At Monmouth; Wilder's Masterpiece Comes To Life

When Thornton Wilder premiered his new play OUR TOWN in 1938, I would wager that more than one person left the theatre asking why anyone would want to watch the lives of "ordinary" people on stage. Fast forward to present day where millions of people the world over tune in to reality tv shows, following the lives of "ordinary" people. The difference is, that there is nothing "brilliant" about the lives of the so-called stars of reality TV. However, Wilder's OUR TOWN is light years ahead of it's time, and the talented cast of his well-known play bring out it's brilliance at the Theater At Monmouth.

Lincoln Center Theater previously announced that Betsy Aidem, Blair Brown, Michael Cerveris, Anthony Cochrane, Lauren Culpepper, Alvin Epstein, Kathryn Erbe, John Glover, Jennifer B. Grace, Katie Kreisler, Stephen Kunken, Haviland Morris, Dale Place, John Procaccino, Gareth Saxe and Alan Schmuckler would be featured in the 18-member cast of its world premiere production of NIKOLAI AND THE OTHERS, a new play by Richard Nelson. The play, which was commissioned by Lincoln Center Theater, will be directed by David Cromer and will begin performances tonight, April 4 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Opening night is Monday, May 6.

Hollywood Film Awards to Take Place 10/21

For a 17th consecutive year, the Hollywood Film Awards continues its mandate of celebrating Hollywood cinema and recognizing excellence in Hollywood, both in-front and behind the camera. This year the Hollywood Film Awards Gala ceremony takes place on October 21, 2013, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills.

Directed by Eric Hoff, with original music & music supervision by Dan Lipton. The show began previews at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street) on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 and opening night set for this evening at 7:30 PM.
