OCCUPIED TERRITORIES Brings Vietnam to NYC Tonight at 59E59 Theaters

59E59 Theaters presents the NYC premiere of OCCUPIED TERRITORIES, written by Nancy Bannon and Mollye Maxner, and directed by Mollye Maxner. Produced by Theater Alliance of Washington, DC & Available Potential Enterprises, MA, OCCUPIED TERRITORIES began performances on October 20 for a limited engagement through Sunday, November 5. Press opening is tonight, October 25, at 7:15 PM.

THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO Coming to Theater J for the Holidays

THE VILLAGE OF VALE Opens At Lincoln Center Education

Brooklyn-based theater company The Village is pleased to present the World Premiere of its inaugural production, The Village of Vale, in a three-performance limited engagement as part of LC Kids' 2017-2018 Season at The Clark Studio Theater (165 West 65th Street, 7th Floor). LC Kids performance dates are October 28th and 29th at 2pm, and November 4th at 2pm.

Creative Cauldron presents A LITTLE PRINCESS SARA CREWE

Creative Cauldron's Learning Theater Ensemble presents an original adaptation of A Little Princess Sara Crewe, the beloved children's novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Featuring a book by Ellen Selby, music by Matt Conner and lyrics by Stephen Gregory Smith, A Little Princess captures the spirit of the novel and its salute to the power of imagination. Directed by Ellen Selby and Creative Cauldron Producing Director, Laura Connors Hull, A Little Princess Sara Crew will run from November 3rd through 19th, 2017 at ArtSpace Falls Church. Press Night for A Little Princess is Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 7:30 PM.

KLECKSOGRAPHY: TOIL & TROUBLE to Conjure New Stories at Rorschach Theatre

Something wicked is brewing this Halloween at Rorschach Theatre as they conjure five new stories about witches forgotten and familiar. KLECKSOGRAPHY: TOIL & TROUBLE is the latest entry in Rorschach's annual extreme new play development event in which five brand-new plays by local writers are written, rehearsed and produced in just seven days.

TORCH SONG, Starring Michael Urie, Adds Final Week at Second Stage Theater

Due to overwhelmingly strong ticket sales, the critically acclaimed production of Harvey Fierstein's Torch Song has added one final week of performances, announced Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director). The production will now play through Saturday, December 9 and will not be able to extend further.

Rebecca Taichman, Anne Kauffman & More Selected as Roundabout Artists in Residence

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced its 2017-18 Artists in Residence. 'I started the Artists in Residence program about 25 years ago to provide artistic and financial support to early-career artists, giving them a theatre to call home and to provide peace of mind for a sustainable career,' says Roundabout Artistic Director Todd Haimes. 'Over the years, this program has evolved to include playwrights, mid-career directors and even an entire young company. And while these residencies have allowed us to help cultivate the next generations of theatre leaders, these artists have also become invaluable to me and our audiences, invigorating this institution with fresh voices.'
