According to The Chicago Tribune, Janet Ulrich Brooks will make her Theatre at the Center debut this summer in The Lady With All The Answers. Brooks will play Ann Landers. The production will open on July 15 and run through August 12.

Berkshire Theatre Group presents Emmy Award-winner Lee Kalcheim's (All in the Family) World Premiere, Coming Back Like a Song!, a play about Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen and Jimmy Van Heusen. Directed by Tony Award-nominated Gregg Edelman (City of Angels, Into The Woods; BTG: Arsenic and Old Lace, Constellations), Coming Back Like a Song! features Tony Award-nominated David Garrison (A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine) as Irving Berlin, Philip Hoffman (Cabaret, Falsettos) as Harold Arlen and David Rasche (Sledge Hammer!) as Jimmy Van Heusen. Performances begin Thursday, June 28, 2018 and run through Saturday, July 21, 2018 at The Fitzpatrick Main Stage (83 East Main Street) in Stockbridge, MA. 

The Hub Theatre, continues its foray into new plays that highlight our common humanity with the world premiere of The Secrets of the Universe (and other songs) by playwright Marc Acito. Secrets, the final production in The Hub's 10th season, will run from July 6-29, 2018 at the John Swayze Theatre in Fairfax, Virginia and is a Co-Production with the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia. Secrets marks The Hub's third production by Marc Acito, after audience favorite Birds of a Feather (2012 Helen Hayes Outstanding New Play winner; Outstanding Ensemble nominee), and How I Paid for College (starring Broadway's Tony Nominated Alex Brightman). The show will be directed by Hub's founding Artistic Director, Helen R. Murray, and produced by incoming Artistic Director, Matt Bassett.

Westport Community Theatre is currently producing the zany farce Shakespeare in Hollywood by Ken Ludwig. Performances take place from June 8th through the 24th todays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, with a Thursday performance on June 14th at 8:00 p.m. Dan Friedman directs the play, which is produced by Sam Mink, David Rylander, and Joan Lasprogato.

WBUR, Boston's NPR news station, is pleased to launch the second season of Circle Round, the popular storytelling podcast for children ages 4-10. The Geffen Playhouse today announced that it has added three directors to its upcoming 2018/2019 season, the first from new Artistic Director Matt Shakman. Tony Award nominee Michael Arden will direct Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, adapted by and starring Tony Award winner Jefferson Mays; Obie Award winner Jo Bonney will direct the world premiere of Jose Rivera's The Untranslatable Secrets of Nikki Corona; and Obie Award-winner Robert O'Hara will direct the world premiere of Inda Craig-Galvan's Black Super Hero Magic Mama.

59E59 Theaters announces that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will join directorMolly Smith for a special post-show conversation immediately following the matinee performance onSunday, July 29 of THE ORIGINALIST. The conversation will surround Justice Ginsburg's former colleague, the late Justice Antonin Scalia, and themes related to the production.

In celebration of the Broadway musical's 50th anniversary, the Axelrod PAC presents HAIR in Concert with Remember Jones directing and starring as Claude alongside Tony Award nominees Constantine Maroulis (Rock of Ages) as Berger and Mary Bridget Davies (A Night with Janis Joplin) as Sheila.

Two Pace University graduates have been recognized for their work by the American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards.

The co-producers behind The Kilbanes' Weightless, a hit rock opera-retelling of Ovid's Metamorphoses, as well as New York's Obie Award-winning The Tricky Part and Lucille Lortel Award-winning All the Rage, return to San Francisco with a new production of A Lesson From Aloes, to be presented at Z Below.
