On hand to disperse awards to over 50 categories were such noted performers as Melody Thomas Scott, George Chakiris, Ashley Tisdale, Lauralee Bell and June Lockhart, who has started her 81st year as a paid actress that included her role of Maria Ramirez on General Hospital for many years. Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Matthew Lombardo will present five-time Emmy Award-winner Heather Tom in Vanities directed by John J. Castonia. Tickets go on sale January 10, 2014 for the acclaimed Jack Heifner play, which is part of the WinterStage Season at the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, Florida from March 26-30, 2014.
Daytime Emmy Award winner David Tom will re-join the #1 daytime drama THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS as Billy Abbott, the role he created in 1999, and for which he won a Daytime Emmy Award in 2000 for “Outstanding Younger Actor.” Tom's episodes will begin airing in February.
