On Monday, October 7th, in the packed Parkside Lounge on the historic Lower East Side, The LIT Fund's inaugural Community Resource Grant was awarded to The SH.I.T. List, an idea conceived by Flux Theatre Ensemble and Gideon Productions.

Flux Theatre Ensemble presents 'Sans Merci' a powerful and searing play by Johnna Adams, in an excellently realized production.

Flux Theatre Ensemble will present the World Premiere of Johnna Adams' (The Angel Eaters Trilogy with Flux; 2011 recipient of the Princess Grace Award) Sans Merci, April 26-May 17 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery). The production will be directed by Heather Cohn (NYIT Outstanding Direction Award nominee for The Lesser Seductions of History) and will feature Rachael Hip-Flores (Anyone But Me webseries; Hearts Like Fists with Flux), Susan Ferrara* (Peasant with KEF Productions), and Alisha Spielmann* (Blast Radius with Gideon Productions; The Runner Stumbles with Retro Productions). Caps Lock Theatre, an NYIT-Award nominated theatre company founded by nytheatre.com 'Person of the Year' Mariah MacCarthy, will present Pussyfest Redux, tonight, February 9th and the 10th at Joria Productions (260 West 36th Street between 7th and 8th Avenue). The two evenings will feature monologues about the body, written for femaleidentifying or female-bodied actresses, as well as some live music by female musicians.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced that the 2012 F*ck!ng Good Plays (festival, III)--ten (10) days of new play readings by nine (9) of today's hottest playwrights--will begin Saturday, December 1 and continue through Monday, December 10. The festival will be presented at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place, west of Seventh Avenue South, between West 11 and Perry Streets).

The Platform Group announces The Ladder Series, a staged reading series aimed at getting new plays to the next rung. Out of more than 100 submissions, ten new plays will receive a staged reading at The Creek and Cave in Long Island City, N.Y. The Ladder series is scheduled to begin on July 15th and continue into early October.

To celebrate their 5th Anniversary and strengthen their mission of building a creative home, Flux Theatre Ensemble is returning to the work of playwrights they've previously produced for Season 5: What Happens Now.

Flux Theatre Ensemble will present the World Premiere of August Schulenburg's (The Lesser Seductions of History with Flux; Dream Walker with Sweet Pea Productions) DEINDE, April 27-May 12 as part of BFG Collective's six month long residency at The Secret Theatre (44 02 23rd Street, Long Island City).
