The One-Minute Play Festival and New Georges have created a dynamic partnership for The 1st George Sand Invitational One-minute Play Festival with part of the proceeds to benefit New Georges' indispensable workspace for women theater artists: The Room.
MANHATTAN THEATRE WORKS (MTWorks), in association with the Theater Series at the 14th Street Y, is pleased to announce the world premiere of MTWorks Co-Artistic Director David Stallings' DARK WATER, directed by Heather Cohn. DARK WATER, a play about the ramifications of the Gulf oil spill, will play a three week engagement at The Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street at 1st Avenue). Flux Theatre Ensemble will present the World Premiere of Johnna Adams' (The Angel Eaters Trilogy with Flux; 2011 recipient of the Princess Grace Award) Sans Merci, April 26-May 17 at the 4th Street Theatre (83 East 4th Street between 2nd Avenue and Bowery).
