New York's desert destination, Serendipity 3 (225 East 60 Street) celebrated the much anticipated, brand-new production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical which will begin performances this Thursday, March 23 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street) by unveiling its new The Lightning Thief Frrrozen Hot BLUE Chocolate with the cast on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. The much anticipated, brand-new production of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical will begin performances this Thursday, March 23 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). The show is set to open on Tuesday, April 4 and run through May 6, 2017.

The fairy tale misfit adventure, Shrek The Musical Jr., comes to life on the Dallas stage with The J's Performing Arts Space (JPAS) productions of the of the adaptation of the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film. Shrek The Musical Jr. is comprised of two casts with actors ages 6 to 18. The Green Cast performs Thursday, March 23 at 7 p.m. andSunday, March 26 at 2 and 7 p.m.; the Blue Cast performs Thursday, March 30 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, April 1 at 8 p.m. and onSunday, April 2 at 2 p.m. All performances will take place in The J's Zale Auditorium at 7900 Northaven Road in Dallas. Attendees are encouraged to get involved in the show by dressing as their favorite fairytale character and purchasing a prop bag for audience interaction. Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for children and seniors in advance. Tickets can be purchased online.

Hit the Lights! Theater Co. will present the NYC premiere of WHALES at The Hive NYC.

The combined vocal force of 1,000 high school students from 30 Southland schools can be heard in a free concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Friday, April 21 when the Los Angeles Master Chorale presents the 28th Annual High School Choir Festival. The 1,000-voice Festival choir will be led by Artistic Director Grant Gershon in a varied program that features works by this year's guest artist singer/composer Moira Smiley. Smiley will also teach the massive choir body percussion to accompany one of her songs.

Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical has received an amazing response from the fans of the series - but they have pointed out that the show's 'Annabeth', played by Kristin Stokes, was not a blonde. So with the help of Amy Schiappa of Fringe Salon, 'Annabeth' will have a lighter look for the show's first performance on March 23 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
