Kathy Najimy Guest Stars on 'Ugly Betty,' 3/24

Broadway's Kathy Najimy will join the cast of ABC's 'Ugly Betty' for a guest starring role as Betty's orthodontist in an upcoming episode, TVGuide.com is reporting. Najimy will be looking to remove the title character's braces, in addition to playing a role in Betty's dreams as a guardian angel. The episode is set to air March 24th.

Hollywood Arts Council Raises $75,000 At 24th Annual Charlie Awards

The Hollywood Arts Council presented their 24th Annual Charlie Awards in the historic newly refurbished Blossom Room of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, home of the first Academy Awards ceremony, at a Sold Out luncheon on Friday, March 19, 2010. Nyla Arslanian, President of the Hollywood Arts Council said: 'We raised $75,000 at the event which will benefit the Council's arts programs for underserved children in the community. This is a challenging year economically, but our kids' art programs must continue; Hollywood's at-risk children can't wait for times to get better. We are very grateful to our 250 event attendees and sponsors for their generous support.'

As previously reported, PS Classics and Nonesuch have partnered up to release the new Broadway cast album of Stephen Sondheim's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. The cast, led by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, headed into the studio January 4. The official album release date will be April 6, 2010. Andy Warhol: The Last Decade is the first United States museum exhibition of the late works of American artist Andy Warhol (1928-1987) and the first major Warhol survey in New York since the 1989 exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art. Created amid the frenetic activity of Warhol's celebrity, the nearly fifty paintings on view reveal the artist's vitality, energy, and spirit of experimentation. During this time Warhol produced more works, in a considerable number of series and on a vastly larger scale, than at any other point in his forty-year career. It was a decade of great artistic development for him, characterized by a dramatic transformation of his style and the introduction of new techniques.

Derek & Romaine and Cast Set For 'Talkout Mondays' at THE TEMPERAMENTALS, 3/8

"TalkOut Mondays" (the after performance discussions) continues March 8th with Derek & Romaine (Sirius "Out Q109" radio hosts) & the cast of the critically acclaimed hit show "The Temperamentals" by Jon Marans at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Daryl Roth, Stacy Shane and Martian Entertainment are presenting the new American play. Thomas Jay Ryan (recently on Broadway "In The Next Room") portrays Harry Hay. Michael Urie (from TV's "Ugly Betty") is Rudi Gernreich. Arnie Burton (an original cast member of Broadway's "39 Steps") joins the cast in multiple roles. Rounding out the cast of five multiple talented actors are Matthew Schneck, and Sam Breslin Wright. The critically acclaimed hit show is directed by Jonathan Silverstein. The Set & Costume design is by Clint Ramos, lighting by Josh Bradford and Daniel Kluger is the sound designer.
