Ragtime is an epic musical that characterizes the changing times in America at the turn of the last century. Curtain Call's production will continue in The Kweskin Theatre through October 22 at the Sterling Farms Theatre Complex, 1349 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Magic shows. These two little words spark so many different thoughts, feelings and opinions from people. Some view them as a complete farce and waste of time, while others are completely fascinated by the sleight of hand, the disillusionment and the mystery behind it all. I happen to be the latter type of person and have seen my fair share of magic shows, so I really wasn't expecting to see anything new or daring in this particular show. Boy, was I wrong! In THE ILLUSIONISTS the seven different type of magicians promise they will "notice, observe, deduce" in a way never seen before, and they absolutely do not disappoint.

Boston International Antiquarian Book Sale Celebrates 40th Year

The Boston International Antiquarian Book Fair celebrates its 40th Anniversary at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston's Back Bay, October 28-30, 2016. RAGTIME Releases Its First Picture - Meet Coalhouse Walker Jr.

Influenced by the long history of puppets, Punch and Judy, and directed by Shade Murray, the production runs September 2 - October 23 at the Chopin Theatre's Upstairs Theater, 1543 W. Division St.

The Belmont Theatre will present the moving musical SIDE SHOW August 12-14 & 18-21. The show will take place in the intimate setting of The Bon-Ton Studio and will give the audience the feeling of sitting in a tent in the middle of the action.  The front row sits right on the stage with the actors.
