The Production Company Presents TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD, Opens 1/14

Continuing the 50-year anniversary celebration of Harper Lee's landmark book-turned-legend, ‘TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD' opens on January 14th, 2011 as THE PRODUCTION COMPANY unveils their new larger space, The Lex Theatre; 6760 Lexington Avenue, in Hollywood's Theatre Row.

STNJ's 49th Season Features THE MISANTHROPE, TIMON OF ATHENS, et al.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will present six Main Stage productions and the world's most famous comedy on its famed Outdoor Stage during its 49th Anniversary Season, the Theatre announced today. 'Our season theme this year is 'Follow the Gleam' borrowed from a poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson,' said Artistic Director Bonnie J. Monte, who is beginning her third decade as the leader of The Shakespeare Theatre. 'Together, these three words create a mysterious and mystical directive. We invite our audiences to follow the gleams of shimmering light - both literal and metaphorical-that will emanate from all our stages this year!'

Hoffman, Keener, Walken and Northam Set for 'A Late Quartet' Flick

A Late Quartet, which is slated for release later this year, tells the story of a string quartet that has played together for a quarter of a century when the members must come to terms with losing one of their own to illness. The film will be directed by Yaron Zilberman, who previously directed the 2004 documentary Watermarks.
