Not every tale begins with 'once upon a time' just as they are not always a love story. Rather, a different kind of love - an equally important love - is presented. In Candlelight's Dinner Playhouse's latest production, Mary Poppins, the love between children and adults, whether it be between kids and their parents or a lovable, stern nanny, is the certain focal point.

Disney's Mary Poppins is set to fly over the rooftops of London and into the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse September 6 - November 11, 2018! This family musical features the delightful songs from the cherished Disney film including "A Spoonful of Sugar," "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" and "Step in Time." Disney has a history of fantasy. Truly, this is the area in which they find their greatest achievements. Bringing such magic to the stage has long been in their wheelhouse. However, the land of imagination is not limited to fantasy. In Disney's Newsies, the only magic in the air is that which comes from theater, as the patrons of Candlelight Dinner Playhouse's latest production will tell you.

Based on the 1993 Disney film of the same name, "Newsies" follows a group of Newsboys at the beginning of the 20th century who take on Pulitzer and the World Newspaper and win. The Newsies are led by a dreamer name Jack who falls in love with a young reporter named Katherine who may not be all she appears to be.
