SLEEPING BEAUTY WAKES, which unfolds entirely through song, reunites GrooveLily with Tony Award-winning librettist Rachel Sheinkin, perhaps best known for her book to The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. They previously collaborated on the inventive holiday tale STRIKING 12(inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Match Girl), which came to Edison Theatre in 2007.

SteppingStone Theatre for Youth Development is presenting Hans Christian Andersen's The Nightingale, July 10 through August 2, 2009. The production, written by local playwright Randy Sue Latimer, and with music by well-known musician and composer Gary Rue, is based on the beloved fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen.

Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID (Producer Thomas Schumacher) debuts a new recording of the show's ballad 'Her Voice' performed by Drew Seeley, now starring in the hit Broadway show as Prince Eric. Written for the stage musical by legendary composer and eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater, the song was produced as a pop ballad for Seeley by Brian Malouf (Vice President of A&R, Walt Disney Records).

Disney Theatrical Productions presents Drew Seeley, star of 'Another Cinderella Story,' as Prince Eric in THE LITTLE MERMAID. Seeley made his Broadway debut in the production last night, Tuesday, June 9th. He will appear though Sunday, August 30th at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater (205 West 46th Street). Drew Seeley joins Broadway's newest 'Ariel' Chelsea Morgan Stock who began performances on Tuesday, June 2nd.
