Starz has announced a script to series development of FremantleMedia North America's (FMNA) adaptation of Neil Gaiman's acclaimed urban fantasy novel 'American Gods.' The pilot script will be penned by Bryan Fuller ('Hannibal,' 'Pushing Daisies,' 'Heroes') and Michael Green ('The River,' 'Kings,' 'Heroes'), who will also showrun the series. They will executive produce along with Gaiman. FremantleMedia North America will produce the series.

Mark Normand's comedy album "Still Got It" will be released by Comedy Central Records on Tuesday, July 15, and will be available on iTunes, Amazon and all streaming services.

While riding along the freeway, drivers are often faced with the oxymoron of a car wreck on the side of the road. Though it is often gruesome and inappropriate to stare, it is equally as challenging to look away. No matter how shocking or repugnant, your eyes are glued to the scene, both attempting to understand what has just happened, and seeing what will happen next. Such was my experience at the Salvage Vanguard Theatre, watching the regional premiere of Silence! The Musical. Did I love it? No. But despite its raunchy lyrics and eye roll-worthy dialogue, its redeeming music and talented ensemble kept me in my seat for nearly an hour and a half.

The Night Alive begins previews September 18, 2014 (opening night is September 28; press performances are September 27 at 3pm and September 30 at 7:30pm) and runs through November 16, 2014 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre (1650 N Halsted St).
