The Drama Book Shop will host an evening with playwright and actress, Halley Feiffer, for a reading and signing of her latest published work, I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 5:00pm. The talk will be conducted by Pulitzer-Prize Nominee, Jon Robin Baitz, while the reading will feature Reed Birney and Betty Gilpin. Both of whom will reprise their roles from the Atlantic Theater Company premiere.

Obie-winning playwright Christopher Shinn grew up in central Connecticut and attended an arts magnet high school in Hartford. He attended Hartford Stage as a teenager, which has since produced his play DYING CITY. Now 40, he's rehearsing the world premiere of his new play AN OPENING IN TIME at Hartford Stage, while the second production of his play TEDDY FERRARA is rehearsing in London. BroadwayWorld has learned that Dave Thomas Brown, recently of Heathers: The Musical at New World Stages, leads a cast that also includes Wayne Duvall (O Brother Where Art Thou?, Leatherheads), Matt McGrath (Cabaret, Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Keith Nobbs (Lombardi, 'The Black Donnellys') and Afton C. Williamson ('Nashville,' 'Homeland') will star in Matthew Lopez's The Legend of Georgia McBride, the first production of MCC's 2015-16 Main Stage Season.
Artistic Director Hal Brooks has announced that the 21st Season of the Cape Cod Theatre Project will feature staged readings of new work by Lucas Hnath, Laura Jacqmin, Kevin Armento, and actor-turned-playwright Ryan King. T. Fellowship, in association with Columbia University School of the Arts, announces Jen Hoguet as the fourth fellow in the one-year program designed to educate and empower new creative producers. The fellow will receive a stipend of $10,000 with a $20,000 budget for the development of a new theatrical production.
