Photo Flash: Lara Pulver and Peter Davison Join West End's GYPSY

Joining Imelda Staunton, who stars as the indomitable Momma Rose in the West End transfer of Jonathan Kent's production of Gypsy, are Lara Pulver who will reprise the role of Louise and Peter Davison who joins the cast to play Herbie. Final casting for this five star Chichester Festival Theatre production will be announced shortly. Take a look at photos of the three leads below!

UNDO Opens 1/29 at The Studio at Mizner Park

Imagine a world where in order to "undo" the tying of the matrimonial knot, the ceremony has to be re-enacted … in reverse. Playwright Holly Arsenault creates such a world of divorce drama in her dramedy, Undo. Joe and Rachel Pfeiffer are getting divorced by running their wedding, in all its details, backwards. The exception? Instead of food, there's liquor, and all things spill out!

2014 Gypsy Rose Lee Award Winners Announced!

Joshua Carter, currently working the national musical tour of Once, wins Performance in a Musical as a Lead Actor (Male) for his work in Little Shop of Horrors, along with his co-lead, Jessica Skerritt. Bill Berry wins as well as director of the co-production of ACT Theatre and The 5th Avenue Theater (housed at ACT).

Photo Coverage: Pics Of Staunton As GYPSY West End Transfer Goes On Sale!

Imelda Staunton will star as the indomitable Momma Rose in the West End transfer of Jonathan Kent's five star sell-out Chichester Festival Theatre production of Gypsy, the first to be seen in London for forty years. This strictly limited season opens at the Savoy Theatre on 15 April 2015 with previews from 28 March 2015 (7.30pm). Further casting for Gypsy, which goes on sale today, 18 December 2014, will be announced shortly.

Chichester's GYPSY, Starring Imelda Staunton, to Begin March 30 at the Savoy

Confirming earlier reports that Chichester Festival Theatre's GYPSY, starring Imelda Staunton as 'Mama Rose', would debut in the West End this spring, the Daily Mail writes that the musical will officially bow on March 30 and run through November 28, 2015 at the Savoy Theatre. This will be the first time GYPSY has appeared in London in 40 years.

Dita Von Teese to Appear at Julien's Auctions in Honor of Gypsy Rose Lee, 12/1

Burlesque dancer, model, fashion icon and lingerie designer Dita Von Teese will appear at the Julien's Auctions 'Icons & Idols: Hollywood' Press Event on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Julien's Auctions Beverly Hills Gallery located at 9665 Wilshire Boulevard. Von Teese, who is widely known to have helped re-popularize burlesque performance, will celebrate the woman who originally created the art, the most famous name in burlesque, Gypsy Rose Lee. Von Teese will appear exclusively for media and will host the Eclectic Collection of Gypsy Rose Lee which will go up for auction on Friday, December 5, 2014.

Imelda Staunton just finished her run as 'Mama Rose' in Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim's GYPSY. This evening, the Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye wrote an update on the musical's West End negotiations -- GYPSY is now eyeing a spring slot (late March) at the Savoy.

Imelda Staunton stars as 'Mama Rose' in Chichester Festival Theatre's current production of Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim's GYPSY, running now through November 8. The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye Tweeted this evening that the production is in negotiations for a West End transfer.
