Bill Hanney launches the 2010 Broadway musical series at the new North Shore Music Theatre (NSMT) with Vicki Lewis starring in GYPSY. A veteran of the stage and screen, Vicki Lewis is most remembered for her 5 seasons playing Beth on the NBC sitcom, 'NewsRadio.' The multi award winning Broadway classic GYPSY runs July 6 - 25, 2010, with press night scheduled for July 8 at 7:30pm.

The new NSMT is under the leadership and ownership of Bill Hanney. Experienced in theater management, Hanney is also the Owner/Producer of Theatre By The Sea in Rhode Island, a 500 seat summer theatre now in it's 4th successful year under his leadership. Mint Theater Company today announced that Jill Abramovitz, Mary Ellen Ashley, Dale Carmen, Matthieu Cornillon, Margaret Daly, Linda Gabler, Jennifer Harmon, Jordan Lage (Speed the Plow), Kate Levy, Dani Marcus, Chris Mixon, Cass Morgan (Memphis), Saxon Palmer, Kraig Swartz, Sheila Stasack, Peter Van Wagner, and Virginia Wing, will join Kristen Johnston (last seen in the Mint production of So Help Me God!, for which she received a Drama Desk nomination) in THE NAKED GENIUS written by Gypsy Rose Lee, on Monday, June 14th at Carolines on Broadway (1626 Broadway between 49th & 50th Streets).

Franklin-born and -raised Hannah McGinley, now a senior at New York University pursuing a degree in musical theatre, is spending the summer at home, portraying 'Louise,' the young woman who would become Gypsy Rose Lee in the Towne Centre Theatre production of Gypsy. Karen Himelrick directs Gypsy, the beloved musical by Jule Styne, Stephen Sondheim and Arthur Laurents, as it dances its way onto the Towne Centre stage for a July 10-July 3 run at the Brentwood theatre.
