Barrel of Monkeys brings back its popular Sunday matinees in THAT'S WEIRD, GRANDMA: Winter Wonderland Matinees, playing Sundays at 2 pm now through March 13, 2016 at the Neo-Futurist Theater, 5153 N. Ashland Ave. in Chicago. Bring the entire family to escape the winter doldrums at this entertaining revue of stories written by Chicago Public School students, adapted for the stage and performed by Barrel of Monkeys Company Members and directed Brandon Cloyd. Barrel of Monkeys' Board of Directors today announced that Amanda Farrar will be stepping down as the company's Executive Director at the end May, after serving nearly six years in the post. Longtime Barrel of Monkeys Company Member Gwen Tulin will serve as Interim Executive Director during the search for a new Executive Director.

This first-ever Behind the [Monkey] Music retrospective will include live interviews with composers who will discuss adaptation anecdotes and onstage antics that have become the signature delight of That's Weird, Grandma.
