The Case Western Reserve/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program's class of 2014 has some excellent actors who should do well in their professional pursuits. Their production of TWELFTH NIGHT has some performance highlights, but the students appear to have been done a disservice by what could be declared a misdirected version of TWELFTH NIGHT. Maybe they can use the experience to learn the necessity of consistency of intent and directing execution.

David Alan Basche, who played Todd Beamer in the award-winning movie, United 93 will star in the Friends of Flight 93 Benefit reading of The Guys at the Mountain Playhouse. Todd Beamer was the passenger on board Flight 93 who is famous for his last words 'Let's roll.' The readings of The Guys will occur at three performances over June 18 and June 19 and all ticket revenue will benefit the Flight 93 National Memorial project.

The Mountain Playhouse in Jennerstown announced today that stage and screen star, Sandy Duncan, will star in The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams, September 15-27, at the professional summer theater in Jennerstown, Pennsylvania.
