STAGES St. Louis announces its exhilarating 29th season, a celebration of diversity, friendship, and community! The 2015 season launches with the Grammy award-winning sensation SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE, a rousing homage to classic rock 'n' roll, and the celebrated song catalog of Leiber and Stoller. We continue with the tap happy Broadway classic ANYTHING GOES, a chic and sophisticated voyage across the Atlantic featuring the witty and romantic songs of Cole Porter. One of Broadway's recent hits, THE FULL MONTY, caps off the season with its powerful message of family, friendship, and community. The fun begins May 29 and continues through October 4, 2015. In addition, the 2015 season Theatre for Young Audiences production will feature Disney's THE ARISTOCATS, beginning June 17.

New York City Center's 2014-15 season features an exciting lineup of dance and musical theater that begins with the 11th season of City Center's acclaimed Fall for Dance Festival. The Festival features 24 acclaimed dance companies and artists from around the world, and will kick off in September with two free dance performances at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park in association with The Public Theater, followed by five unique programs at City Center in October. The Suffield Players Announce their Spring Production: Anything Goes, with Music and Lyrics by Cole Porter Book by P.G. Wodehouse, Guy Bolton, Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. Directed by Jane Cerosky Musical Direction by Frank Jackson Choreography by Terry Rowe. The show runs May 1, 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17 at 8 pm and May 11 and 18 at 2 pm at Mapleton Hall.
The Hamilton Music Academy is blessed with one of the few remaining full auditoriums within Los Angeles City Schools, complete with wings that allow large set pieces to be moved on and off the stage. John Paul Luckenbach's set pieces appear to be easily and quickly moved by cast members, incorporating the changes into the show itself which kept the place flowing along at a steady pace thanks to Chelsea Field's direction.
This February, the Academy of Music at Hamilton High School, winner of the Los Angeles Music Center's Bravo Award, will stage Anything Goes, the classic musical comedy filled with well-loved songs by Cole Porter, blazing tap dance numbers and madcap antics taking place aboard an ocean liner traveling from New York to London. (Little-known fact: The Tony Award-winning 2011 Broadway revival starred Hamilton High alumnus Joel Grey as Moonface Martin!)
