Tonight, two-time Tony Award nominee Brandon Victor Dixon makes his debut as Aaron Burr in Lin-Manuel Miranda's revolutionary smash hit Hamilton on Broadway.
The standby for all three Schuyler sisters is the latest subject in HAMILTON's series of portraits taken by photographer Josh Lehrer using his 1839 lens.
Could there have been a happier bunch last night than the cast and creative team of HAMILTON? The show took home a whopping eleven Tony Awards, giving the company plenty to celebrate after the festivities concluded at the Beacon Theatre. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the show's after party and you can check out some photos from the special night below!

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you some cabaret highlights for this week as picked by our theatre editors, including: Laura Michelle Kelly at 54 Below; New Musicals at 54: Funked Up Fairy Tales by Kirsten Childs; The Songs of Carner & Gregor; Barrett Foa: Grin and Barrett; and 54 Sings How to Succeed.
After a sold-out Feinstein's/54 Below debut in February, Ryann Redmond brings her very first solo show back to the stage! Ryann first broke onto the scene as Bridget in the Tony nominated Bring It On the Musical for which she received abundant critical acclaim. Stephen Brown of New York Magazine raved, 'As for show-stealers, well, it's a talent melee: Ryann Redmond slays us as Bridget, a nerdy, big-boned laugh-track of a cheer-wannabe who ends up with her own storyline.' David Rooney of the Hollywood Reporter applauded Ryann's 'winning comic turns.' Ryann recently appeared in Broadway's If/Then and then headed to the MUNY to play Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray this past summer.
