Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music announced today that Maestra Marin Alsop will step down from her role as Music Director and Conductor in August 2016, following her 25th anniversary season. The Cabrillo Festival's 54th season runs August 5-13, 2016 in Santa Cruz, CA.

It was announced today that LIGHT THE NIGHT will celebrate 10 years with a final benefit concert at the City Recital Hall Angel Place on Monday October 27. The annual benefit has been raising money and awareness for leukaemia research over the past decade. To date, over $400,000 has been donated to The Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation, targeting a cure for leukaemia.
