Performance Network, Michigan's most award-winning theatre, is proud to announce its 2010-2011 season. The year will feature seven shows beginning September 16, 2010 and running through August 28, 2011.
London Fringe Premieres THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, 9/23

Ovation in association with Alex Segal will present The London Fringe Premiere of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE by Lisa Lambert, Don McKellar, Bob Martin and Greg Morrison. The Tony Award-winning hit Broadway musical will also be presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Limited on behalf of Music Theatre International of New York. Performances are scheduled to run 23 September 2010 - 31 October 2010.

Theatre Jacksonville is a volunteer based community theatre whose mission is to enrich lives and broaden cultural understanding through community participation in theatre arts. This mission supports inclusion and the development of diversity in the Company's artistic, volunteer, audience and donor bases. This goal is achieved through presenting plays and programs of noted artistic excellence, supporting volunteers and students with exceptional training and educational opportunities, and allowing for the development of unique and/or original performance projects and events by Florida artists. The theatre opened in 1919 and is now entering its 91st season. Theatre Jacksonville is located at 2032 San Marco Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida. Civic Theater West Holds Auditions for THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, 7/12 & 7/13

Auditions will be held on Monday, July 12 and Tuesday, July 13 at 8:00pm. Call backs will be held on Wednesday, July 14 at 8:00pm. Rehearsals will be held between July 19 and September 9. Production dates are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 2:00pm from September 10 thru October 9 with one Thursday performance on September 16 at 7:00pm. Be prepared with 16 bars of a song from a Broadway show (but not from THE DROWSY CHAPERONE), and come dressed for movement.

The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has announced that it has commissioned a new musical from Bob Martin, Don McKellar, Lisa Lambert, and Greg Morrison, the creators of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. The musical will be presented at the 2011 Festival.

The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, presents the Chicago-area premiere of the smash hit Broadway musical THE DROWSY CHAPERONE. The production previews April 28th, opens May 5th, and runs through June 27th. Multi-Jeff Award winner Marc Robin will choreograph and direct.
