Epic Pictures Group Expands Film Production and Finance Operations

Patrick Ewald and Shaked Berenson's Epic Pictures Group is expanding its film production and finance operations with the hiring of John Short as V.P. of International Sales. The hiring marks Ewald and Berenson's commitment to focus on Epic's original productions, while Short will oversee day-to-day operations for the company's successful foreign sales business. Short is introducing Epic's slate at the upcoming Filmart in Hong Kong, March 18-21 and will then attend the Marche du Film in Cannes, May 16-25.

Frances Fisher to Appear in Crackle's THE UNKNOWN

Frances Fisher (THE LINCOLN LAWYER), William Atherton ('Life') and Taryn Manning ('Hawaii Five-0'), among others, will star in installments of the original anthology THE UNKNOWN for Crackle.com, the multi-platform video entertainment network.

Newton & Diamantopoulos Announce Pregnancy; 'Love Bites' Moved to NBC's Midseason

NBC will air the new anthology comedy 'Love Bites' at midseason, due to casting issues, USA Today reports. Actress Becki Newton ('Ugly Betty') is pregnant; Vernon Sanders, executive vice president of current programming, says that in the show's pilot, 'she plays a virgin, so we have to make adjustments to that.' In addition, actress Jordana Spiro is leaving the show, due to conflicts with her role on 'My Boys.' Cindy Chupack has also stepped now from her role as executive producer, although she will write for the show, USA Today reports.

NBC Announces 2010-11 Primetime Schedule

The new Fall Schedule features all-drama lineups on Mondays and Wednesdays, and all comedies on Thursdays, plus unscripted programming into compatible dramas on Tuesdays and Fridays. The high-quality series include new comedies such as 'Outsourced,' Love Bites,' 'Perfect Couples,' 'Friends With Benefits' and 'The Paul Reiser Show.' The new dramas are 'The Cape,' 'Harry's Law,' 'Outlaw,' 'Undercovers,' 'The Event,' 'Chase' and 'Law & Order: Los Angeles.'

Goldberg, Krakowski, Muppets & More Part of NBC Holiday Specials & Celebrations

NBC gives the gift of holiday-themed series episodes and specials throughout late November and December with a multitude of festivities, a special military audience for 'The Jay Leno Show' airing Thanksgiving evening and a night of holiday-themed Thursday night comedies from 'Community,' 'Parks and Recreation,' 'The Office' and '30 Rock' on December 10.

Ivanek And Greene To Appear On NBC's HEROES 4/20

Stage and screen stars ?eljko Ivanek and Ellen Greene will appear on NBC's 'Heroes'. The pair appear in the episode 'I Am Sylar', set to air on April 20th at 9:00pm Eastern.
