The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye reports that renowned UK singer and performer John Barrowman is in early negotiations to put on a sequinned gown, high heels and false eyelashes for the West End show La Cage aux Folles.

Following the record-breaking success of La Cage aux Folles, the Producers are delighted to announce the glamorous musical comedy will extend its run at the Playhouse Theatre until January 9th 2010. Tickets will be released for sale on Monday March 16th.

Roger Allam has been cast to play drag queen Albin/Zaza in La Cage Aux Folles at West End's Playhouse theater. He will begin playing the role on may 4th. Allam follows in the footsteps of Graham Norton who originally made his debut in La Cage Aux Folles in January. He will remain in the roll until May 2nd.

UK Press reports have revealed that Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber decided not to save professional singer and musician Damien Flood after he was one of the two acts with the fewest votes from the public in the BBC's Eurovision: Your Country Needs You.

UK's The Dail Mail is reporting that Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has pledged his support to Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber for this year's UK Eurovision entry. Putin promised he will cast his personal vote for the UK's Song For Europe following a tenacious campaign by the composer.
